Post-Quarantine Reopening

Below you will find the policies and procedures that have been put into place by the leaders as we begin to transition back to regular church services.

Reopening Procedures

As you know, our church is comprised of many individuals with compromised immune systems. We want our church members to feel safe. Please reach out to church leaders if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. Please use the buttons below for more information.

We will begin with our Sunday morning worship service and Wednesday Night Community Bible Studies first. As people become more comfortable with returning to church, we will carefully and strategically resume our regular events. These events will be announced in church and through our electronic media outlets.

Attending Church

We understand that different people have different comfort levels when it comes to returning to regular church services. The pastor and music director will most likely not wear masks due to the fact that microphones won’t pick up their voices well. We do however encourage the use of masks. Here are a few guidelines:

  • If you or anyone in your household is experiencing any flu symptoms, please stay home until you have been examined by a medical professional

  • Stay home if you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 14 days

  • Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds as often as possible

  • Refrain from touching your face to the best of your ability

  • Please stay at least 6 feed away from people who are not part of your household

  • Enter the building and find your seat. Do not congregate in the hallway

  • We are not requiring but strongly recommend the use of masks

  • Please refrain from handshaking, hugging, and other physical contact

  • Sit in every other pew (we will mark off every other pew)

  • Be prepared to dismiss by section or pew. We may also dismiss through different exits

  • For the time being, we will display all Scripture and song lyrics on the projector screens. We do encourage you to bring your own Bible if you would like. The hymnals and church Bibles will not be available for the time being

  • No choir for the time being
Sanitizing Procedures

Church leadership, volunteers, and the custodian will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing after church services. This will include:

  • Wiping down the backs of pews and armrests with appropriate cleaning supplies

  • Wiping door handles and common “touch” points (light switches, railings, etc.)
